Almost there!!!

We can hardly contain ourselves... just 2 months to go. I can't believe it's been 7 years since my wife tearfully announced we were £51,000 in debt. There was no shouting and no recriminations. Thankfully I had found Martin's book in the shops. Through that we found the CCCS, who are absolutely wonderful and without whom we couldn't have done it, or you fellow D-F wannabees. We're on the right track now and hope to be soon putting away the monthly creditor payment into savings. Savings! Wow! What's that? Not before we make a donation to CCCS though - we owe them a huge debt of gratitude.
To all those feeling low, please be assured it does get better, and there will be an end to it.

Well done and great to hear that you are donating to CCCs, so that they can help some people that are starting out on their D-F journey.

    Hi My aim is true,

Thanks for your wonderful compliments about CCCS. It's genuinely humbling to hear about clients who can not only see 'the light at the end of the tunnel' but who are nearly in the daylight again!

Thank you for your offer of a donation. If you'd like to make a cash donation, I'd suggest you donate to our sister charity Credit Action http://www.creditaction.org.uk, whose mission is to educate the most vulnerable about how to avoid debt.

If you’re happy with the service we provided we're always on the look out for advocates for our service, so if you would like to provide a testimonial about us, or you can recommend us to friends (in real life or if you're on a social network) that would be wonderful. Or, if you’re feeling brave, you can tell us your story, so we can use your experiences as an anonymous case study for future clients, or possibly speak to journalists who contact us from time to time about our work.

Send us a PM if you're interested in any of this and we’ll reply with more details.

Again, well done on achieving your goal (well, you’re nearly there!). The moral of the story is never to give up and you'll get there one day!

    Regards,
    Mat:beer:
