Its the most stupid policy ever however that is correct.
However you can use the post office and ask for cash back if you require any money.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -

Im not sure be honest however with todays competitive market of bank accounts etc you think they would lift the stupid using a lloyds only ATM policy.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
Who is the 'someone'? Why not call them up or go into a branch and ask?0

The competition is only between 'full' accounts - to be honest most banks would not offer them if the government had not 'leaned' on them.0

Visa debit can be used in shops? Which is either a Classic, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Premier account.
The card which you are talking about is a cash account but is not a Visa debit card as per your first post... So maybe you have one of the above in that case you can withdraw at any cashpointCan I find out my credit score? You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)0 -

They don't really like offering them at all. Most don't let you allow to apply online or over the phone; you have to go into a branch and look for a 12th generation photocopy of an application form behind the filing cabinet in the basement toilet down the rusted metal stairs with no banisters behind the door reading "beware of the leopard".
They make no money. Or, more accurately, the customers they are for are incredibly unprofitable. Banks don't want people on benefits or with poor credit histories, they want someone stable in stable employment with money to spare. If all of Lloyds' cash account customers left them overnight they'd probably spoo themselves inside out with delight at all the money they'd save.
Not a shot at people on benefits or with poor credit histories, just how things are.urs sinserly,

My card is deff a visa debit as it says it on the right hand side of card.
I think they give them out now with the basic account.0 -
Cash accounts are the basic account.
Again, anyone who has a cash account should get an easy saver savings account, which is free- its comes with a cash card which you can use at any cash point.0
