Insurance with a criminal record

I was found guilty of a very minor offence in October and now with a criminal record I find to my horror that I am unable to get buildings insurance for my new home. I cant believe it and no-one can help - and believe me I've trawled through the phone book.
Anyone got any suggestions? Neither 'crime' or home insurance are related in anyway whatsoever, and I'm in the Appeal Courts this very week to get it overturned. But if it doesnt, adn we all know that at times, the law is an !!!.........
PLEASE advise!

Do a search on google for exactly what you are looking for and you will find a few brokers who specialise in placing business for people with a criminal record. Cant vouch for any of them howeverAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

Thanks for that shove, but I'd done that and only get sites for Insurance and CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) and still no brokers or that likes that will assist!
