How to contact Tax Credits

Hi all,
Not sure if anyone else has this problem. I phoned the tax credits helpline earlier on 0845 300 3900. I gave them my national insurance number but managed to get 2 of the numbers mixed up.
Because of this, they refused to take my call any further. I had waited on the line for 15min and tried to phone back a couple of times and got a message stating that the lines are too busy to take any more calls and to try again.
I'm very frustrated by this and am wondering if any of you know an email address where I can send a complaint to. I can't seem to find one.
Thanks for your help
Much appreciated.

Thanks, will try that - much appreciated. It's a bit awkward though as I'm at work then but might try when the lines open at 8 and see how that goes.

This is a list of the HMRC enquiry centres in N Ireland:-

They have phones with direct lines through to TCO.
You can find their opening hours by opening the pdf on the first line here - http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/enq/main.htmThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
