    Sorry, one last daft question. I'm just about to click on 'buy' and notice under drives it says:

    CD/DVD Drives 16x DVD +/- RW Drive

    I can still use that single drive to burn my Cds for the car can't I?

    Sorry, I know the question is dumb but I'm nervous about this whole thing anyway and don't want to make any stupid mistakes.

    Money saving is my middle name, it took for ever to load...but yes I used Quidco :j

    Thanks everyone for your help with my dumb questions. I have an estimred date of delivery in approx 10 days time, which is to be confirmed. So guess what I'm doing over Christmas!

    I'm just off now to buy one of those pen drive thingys to get my data off that I want to keep, as I have no other way of getting it off in the absence of a working CD or floppy drive.
