sons laptop stuck on "logging off"

Hi - hope im posting in the correct place:o

Can anybody help me - My sons laptop an old Fujitsu (amilo??) has been stuck on the logging off screen since 9pm last night:eek:

Any ideas on what to do ? Ive tried switching off and on but keeps coming on to the logging off screen

Any help appreciated - thanks in advance all

Hold down the power button for 5-10 seconds and it should switch off. When you turn it back on, let it do the disk checks.

have you got a backup and a system restore disk if it happens again?
