Hi thinking about buying a 2 bedroom appartment in the city.
Ground rent is £1000 a year, and a 999 year lease.

Is this Rent likely to ever go up ? will it still be only £1000 in 999 years time? or would it be liable for rent review?

I have no problems about paying this as it pays for the insurance of the building and cleaning of the communal areas.

If we default on the rent would we be evicted> after all we would be paying £150 000. Not that i am even thinking i would default. Just want to know legalities of it all. As most landlords have rent reviews ever 5 years or so??

any help much sort after
