That's what I did in the end (or rather, the council pest control man did).
All seems to be clear now - very good news.

Our cat catches rats and she's not hungry. She's just a killer!Has been since she was very tiny and we found something skinned under DD's bed. Gross but I'm glad she's killing rats. I think they're coming here because of food bins

Despite having a lot of compost bins & a green cone, plus feeding the birds, we don't seem to be troubled by rats (not to my knowledge, anyway). We do have a very large rescue cat who is built like the proverbial brick outhouse, so maybe his presence is keeping them away.2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
