beach near train station - dorset?

can anyone tell me if there is a beach near (walking distance) to a train station? We live in southampton so was thinking probably dorset ish.

Weymouth station is only a very short walk from the beach and its lovely and sandy with lots of things to do..If you come out of the station you can see the beach more or less

Bit too far but Dawlish has two stations, the warren and dawlish and you practically step off the train on to the beaches at both

bournemouth beach is close to the station-its got 10 miles of golden yellow sand

Nip across to the I-O-W on Red Funnel, and enjoy all its beaches.

st ives cornwall - if you want to go a bit further

of course from Southampton you could get to worthing or brighton easily enough on the train - both under 1 mile to the beach
