My gran is moving to a sheltered house the rent is £272.02 per month and £67.00 service charge = £339.02 per month

Now she gets £475 - per month - state pension

She is still £350 ahead, is she moving from a council property or her own home?

Did a quick check on entitledto, and it seem she it entitled to £64.64 a week housing benefit.

I suggest you give it a try, and see what you come out with.

I think if she is entitled to housing benefit she can probably claim for the service charge too. She should speak to age concern or the like to get everything checked out.

Does she claim pension credits? Might be worth looking into if she doesn't.
