DLA/Carers Allowance and holidays

I get DLA mobility and care at the highest rates, and my husband gets carers allowance.

For how long are we allowed to be away on holiday in Europe before we need to inform the DWP, and are our awards likely to be affected?

For some reason I had thought that each period away must be for a maximum of four weeks, but I can't find anywhere that says this.

You have to inform them if you're going to be away for 4 weeks or more.

Less that 4 weeks, as far as I know, you don't need to tell them.
