Watching videos from Laptop on TV

Hi chums,

I have some old videos and things i've created on my laptop, is it just a case of hooking it up to the main tv using an HDMI cable to watch it on the "big screen"?

If the laptop has an HDMI output, yes.

Yup - If you have an HDMI or video/audio output on the laptop, then it is just a matter of using the appropriate cable and selecting the appropriate output via function keys or display software.

Watch that you don't get stung for cables though - Many places sell HDMI cables for stupid prices when in reality you get no better quality over a cheap non-branded cable. Shop around. :)
