Scottishpower rip off

I have never made an agreement for any cancellation charge with Scottish power but when I try to switch to a new company they have sent me bill with £ 30 as cancellation charges. Can they do his t me or will never :mad:
be able to switch to a new company.

    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

    Were you on a fixed price or internet tariff? If so, they quite often come with cancellation charges if you switch off them before a certain date. Did you read your tariff t&c's?

    All our most competative tariffs have cancellation charges at present, the terms and conditions of each tariff explains this.
