Is it true if you ask for a geographic landline number that these nasty 0845 people must provide one under the Fredom of Information Act?
I just get so irate that I pay for a service to get "free" land line calls and then I get stictched up with the 0845 stuff (I do use Say No as much as I can). Currently having an argument with a bank....which is why I am so rilled.
Looking forward to comments
Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question, but it is worth checking for landline numbers at http://www.saynoto0870.com/search.php0

No. In any case, the FOIA only applies to 'public' organisations (and don't even bother with the "but we own the banks" argument, you'll get bogged down endlessly).SeekingSanity wrote: »Is it true if you ask for a geographic landline number that these nasty 0845 people must provide one under the Fredom of Information Act?

Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
There may not be a geographical equivalent to the 0845 number.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
