cool, thanks pwuk! I'll have a look into what they require and what they offer

Does anyone else have any ideas?0 -
Try Halifax or Airmiles duo one & do it on line. I have both Halifax carent and reward ccard + other lot of cards. I think they are brilliant. I love plastic especialy cashback, lol.
These days cc don`t ask for evidence in my experience and I don`t think they check your credit rating, but that`s just my thinking. I don`t work but I make up my earnings on aplication forms Just over £1000 a month and this seems to triger accept.
Now I am not giving you advise you should be telling prkies, haha, but that`s what I usually do as no income and it works for me . :-)
I do pay everyhing off though - my hubby works.
Remember just pay in full at the end of it and you should be fine. :-)0 -
yea paying it off isn't a problem. Ideally i'd like to be making cashback on my purchases so thats the kind of card i'm looking at!
Yeah I definitely won't be telling porkies lol. I imagine you may get people telling you off for that bit but each to their own.
Not keen on travelling so airmiles isn't of use to me but i'll check halifax out!0 -
right, i've been good today. I have gone to 2 banks and closed inactive accounts with them! The balances have always been clear but they have just been lying there. I read that it's bad for your credit to have loads of accounts open thus the reason for closing.
Does anyone have any idea how long they will take to show as settled on my report?
Also, my electoral roll information still hasn't updated!!!
wish that'd hurry up, it was added like 6 weeks ago! 0 -

So your commiting fraud? Can I find out my credit score? You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)0 -

I guess the poster thinks it's o.k. because she pays in full and because her hubby works. God forbid hubby looses his job! Then it'll be 'CC company never did any proper checks - I'm unemployed so I should never have got a card'!BCSC Member 70:j
