Hi,
Could anybody answer a question about this?
My partner is about to go for an ESA tribunal with the help of the CAB. We have recieved a "Directions Notice" concering the date of the hearing. Which I understand.
However, the listed "Appellant" is not my partner - it is a name we do not recognise. Isn't my partner the "Appellant" - have we been sent somebody elses notice?
Confused!

In advance!

It is worth contacting the Tribunal Service as it should be your partner versus either the DWP or the Secretary of State.0

yes get in touch with them, sometimes things get sent to the wrong people.
Once they sent my appeal documents to the wrong address, so some random stranger got my medical reports etc.[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.
[/greenhighlight][redtitle]
The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0
