Barclaycard fight

The short version is Barclaycard agreed in July 2010 they owed us £1184 in mis sold PPI (thanks to this site:D.) We asked for payment in cheque, they refused so wrote to FOS. They said as we had an outstanding balance then payment would have to go on card account. We agreed to settle in Nov 2010.

After 10 calls (which always seemed to get cut off after being told to hold while info checked) and several letters we got back in touch with FOS (last thursday)........within 24 hrs the £1184 was credited to our account. However the FOS are not happy we have not recieved any interest from Nov to now.......we have been paying interest on £1500 instead of £400 so they are fighting to get that back.

The saga continues!!!!!!!

Good luck with this one, fingers crossed. Keep at them!

I can sympathise with your frustration about the phone calls, I'm chasing them at the moment and every time I call I get hold music for approx 30 minutes
