Sorry if wrong forum but I don't know where else to put it.
I have bought a couple of games for my X Box 360 and they are rubbish. I wondered if anyone knew if I could get away with taking them back now. I know Asda will let you return them if it is within the 28 days as long as they aren't scratched(which mine isn't) but not sure and don't want to make a fool of myself by going down and asking for them to say no cause my g/f is a manager there.

You MAY be okay GHE, but why not ask your gf?I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Why don't you give them a ring as a 'potential customer' what happens if my kids/nephew/brother doesn't like the game.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0

you wont be able to return them, unless they are faulty0

Surely they only take a return if its faulty, otherwise everyone could buy games..use it for a month and return it saying it was rubbish....0

They wont take them back if they have been opened, and even then (sometimes they do) will only exchange it for the same title. All down to copyright - its too easy now to copy the games and have them for nothing. No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

no idea what my nerdnumber is - i am now officially nerd 229, no idea on my debt free date0 -
Take it back and tell them the game has been freezing. They have no way of testing the games and will just refund it as a faulty item.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

My g/f is the resource manager and has nothing to do with the shop floor. I would have her ask but if they say no to her and then I turn up then it would look a bit dodgy. Think I will go with the freezing on me thing, thanks for that0

Im sorry but I find that totally dishonest to say that they are freezing when they arent.
So are you going to say that they are both freezing?
I would accept that a bad choice had been made when purchasing the games and sell them on ebay rather than defraud a companyWeight Loss - 102lb0 -

very true... but asdas games (new ones) are always empty anyway as they keep them stored out of there cases... this is why i will only buy games from stores that sell you the sealed packet... the last time i brought a game in asda... they filled it at the checkout... the disc got droped... it when down the exitbelt and got jammed... the till opperater then proceeded to pull the game out and bend it put it into my case and sell it to me... needless to say i refused t pay for it... now i would rather go somewhere else and pay the extra £3/£4 to get a 'new' game0 -
i ahd that with a superman xbox 360 game from tesco i got r n r, the one tesco took them all out fo the boxes and into wallets ala rental stores such as blockbusters but then when i got my free one it had a massive scratch down the side...i took it to another tesco coz i cudn't be botheered to drive all the way back to the first one and got the same game but wrapped...so guarenteed to be new
