Ninth Anniversary 100 Posts Combo Breaker
Got three young tomatoe plants in one of those plastic greenhouses and white patches are appearing on the leaves,could anyone tell me what is wrong please.

    It sounds like sun scorch or wind burn. Have you got water on the leaves during the day?
    If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

    Quite possible,the greenhouse as not been opened up though due to the wind.

    Not whitefly,some leaves are kind of mottled green and white and the very lowest leaves appear to be dying.

    Try to make sure you water from below - don't get any on the leaves. Other than that, it should be ok. Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get any worse.

    How big is it? Have you got flowers yet?
    If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

    How long have they been in their pots? Are they in pots that are too small for them? It could be the compost goodness is running out

    Only about 7 inch high and no flowers,compost is brand new.

    Photo! Cold, hot, water, lack of, or too much of, too much fertiliser (shouldn't have had any). Pests, possible, but not probable. Water droplets on leaves, it's not exactly sun scorch as such, but it does leave dry white marks on the leaves.
