Working Tax Credit

I need to work at least 16 hours to qualify for Working Tax Credit. A job I seen locally is 12 to 16 hours.
Would I need to report each week what I do to the Tax credit people?
Unsure how it would work.

If it averages under 16 then you probably won't be able to claim.
