BT is reducing rates on Saturday by up to 24%, though not from the kindness of its heart as it's a result of a ruling from regulator Ofcom which forced mobile operators to cut the costs they charge other firms.
(though I know BT were one of the main people behind the campaign to get the fees lowered)
More interestingly, the BT Press release also states:We are passing on Ofcom’s reduction and what’s more we’ll soon be telling customers how they can stop worrying about call charges from landlines to mobiles with a new, inclusive consumer calling package.
Be interesting to see they come up with..
