Higher Rate DLA Care - HELP?

My partner claimed :

Lower Rate Mobility DLA & Middle Rate Care
Long term IB
Income support

he has now been awarded

Lower Rate Mobility & Higher Rate Care.
Long term IB
Income support

Please does anyone know if the increase in care rate entitles him to anything else?

I have read maybe Enhanced Disability premium for Income support, is this right ?

Anything else?

Trying to find a straight answer online is driving me mad.

According to direct.gov.uk he should be able to get the couple rate Enhanced Disability Premium added to his IS.

The Enhanced Disability Premium

Single rate


If you are single and aged under 60, you may be able to get this premium if either:

• you get the highest rate care component of Disability Living Allowance; or
• you have a dependent child or children who get(s) the highest rate care component of Disability Living Allowance

Couple rate

If you have a partner, you may get the couple rate premium if you or your partner get the highest rate care component of Disability Living Allowance.
