Need some advise on an JSA claim please.


If a person claims Income based JSA and gets the middle rate care on DLA and the low rate mobility on DLA he/she should also get the Disability Premium added to his/her claim at £27.50 per week, correct?

Now for the severe disability premium it says he/she must be living alone, does this include parents or just as a couple?

don't deal with jsa but pension credit, but assume the same qualifing conditions apply for the severe disablity benefit, he must live alone or be treated as living alone if he is single, if he is part of a couple then both must have the dla care for a double rate to apply, only in rare cases can the single rate be applied for a couple, but both must qualify for the double rate for it to be applied
