Can you get a replacement P60?
If tax credits check your earnings anyway, can I not just put a rough figure and they can confirm it or does it not work like that?
Thanks

If you have lost your P60 you can ask your employer for a replacement/duplicate copy.0 -
Thanks, that would be the easiest option, but I started a new job part year. What happens if the company is no longer contactable?!?0

Do you mean you are looking for a P60 from your old employer ? If you stopped being employed by them before the end of the tax year, then I don't think you'll get a P60 from them - al lthe relevant details should be on the P45 that they'll have given you when you left.0 -

No, they might not cross-check for a year, and if they find a discrepancy they will demand any overpayment back then, and you could face a penalty. Best get it right.
It's probably safe to use the "taxable pay to date" on your last payslip in the tax year.0
