I'm updating my computer desk. Bought a flat screen monitor and combined printer/scanner and also new wireless keyboard and optical mouse. Guy in PC world told me laser mouse was no more accurate than optical but more expensive so I got optical. When I read the installing instructions, it occured to me that wireless keyboard and mouse may cause some connectivity problems. has anybody experienced any problems. I can easily take it back & exchange for wired gear, but thought wireless "was the way forward" but DONT want any messing about. Whats the best thing to do????

I have only experience problems with wireless keyborad/mouse at work where six of us were in close proximity and we used to get interference from each other. (so to speak) Never been a problem at homeWe all evolve - get on with it0

I would say with the number of new systems now shipping with wireless mouse/keyboard being used in a home wirless network...chances of interference are very small to practically non existant.....nearly everyone I know uses that setup and none of us have any problemsI'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j
Those who can do, those who can't, come to me for lessons:cool:0 -
When the batteries run low in the keyboard/mouse you will have connection issues - ensure you know where the battery monitor is installed, so you can keep an eye on the charge... so you know to have a set recharged and ready to replace them ....Rich people save then spend.
Poor people spend then save what's left.0 -

LIES!
I changed my LED optical for a laser optical and I have to say it is far more accurate, it now has a resolution up to 2000 dpi which you certainly can't get with LED. And it is a real obvious difference. "She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

So thats a thumbs up then guys? Do the batteries last a long time? Cant say I'm over enthusiastic about even more battery operated gizmo's It seems everything is battery operated these days, or so they tell me !!!!:smileyhea A SMILE COSTS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING0

Its a matter of preference , I must admint I had wireless for a bit , but I'm not a huge fan of it.
