My Barclaycard (good) Experience

first post here, thought i'd share my barclaycard experience as i've seen a lot of threads on here about them.

APPLICATION
used the pre-check tool on their website in jan or feb. said no chance!! at the time had about £12000 cc debt.
tried again on may 5th, 80-90% chance i'd get the 20month 0% card. by this time i'd about £10000 cc debt.

so i did the online application and was successful. over the next week i had 2 phone calls for fraud prevention, 1 automated and 1 actual person. also recieved 2 emails saying i was successful. card arrived shortly after the personal call, followed by the pin a few days later. rang to activate, no problems.

BALANCE TRANSFERS
while doing the application i put down to transfer £2200 from 1 of my cards. this was confirmed when i rang to activate. appeared on my online transactions immediately. was "pending" for 2 days then went through, was taken off other card balance after 5 days.

now the one i was nervous about! have virgin cc with 0% ending soon. it's a suspended account after i opted out of a rate increase so therefore i had no expiry date.
went onto barclaycard online banking, put in amount to transfer, entered account number and a made up exp date. went through exactly the same as the last one.

SUMMARY
i'd read the threads about cards being cancelled after successful applications so kept expecting this to happen. once the first balance transfer went through i was more confident. i was extremely nervous about the second transfer, having to make up an expiry date! but it worked!!

knowing my luck it the card will be cancelled tomorrow now i've posted this!!
