Cleaning silver plate

Can anybody recommend an effective cleaning product for silver plate please ?
I have afraid of dipping the items for fear of damaging the plating and Goddard doesn't work for removing tarnish or the build up of grime accumulated over the years.

Brasso also had a sister product called, strangely, Silvo. Good stuff.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
