I'm thinking about selling my wares online. Not sure just what yet, or what niche angle to go but I originally thought selling via a shop on ebay.
I just don't like the idea of them getting a cut all the time etc. With facebook and twitter I can get the word out without ebay.
Anyway, I'm looking into the whole idea before I begin any further and would like to research online website hosting, preferably free (do they exist?) and particulalry those with the facilities to accept payment online.
Any help would be fab.

Hopefully you mean wares and not warez?
Anyway, try facebook
A family member started a group for the local town they live and invited all their friends to the group. It's constantly posting for buying and selling.
You could try creating a group for your local region and inviting all your friends, friend of friends, etcOwner of andrewhope.co.uk, hate cars and love them

Search the forum (main forum) as there are hundreds of threads on hosting. At least 50% of those will ask about commerce solutions. There are all types of solutions but the short version is that if you want a decent service, be prepared to pay for it. You can get decent hosting for around £30 per year, so it's not madly expensive.
We really need a sticky on this.....0
