Cheap greenhouse shelving?
We're in the process of fitting out our new greenhouse and above my home made staging I fancied putting in shelves.
I picked up some cropped bolts to enable me to be able to screw brackets to the glazing bars but haven't come up with any cheap brackets or decent shelves.
Any tips? Ideally want metal grid like shelves to allow for drainage. Timber and chipboard seem to be a no-no in such a moist atmosphere.

B&M do 4 tier staging, metal grids, for about £7 or so - I got 4 and they do the trick as long as you don't batter the poles into their plastic joints!0

Yup, I've got a couple of the B&M ones.
Someone else pointed out, if you buy the 4 tier mini greenhouses, simply don't put the cover on!The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.

I've done that for years... and it is very effective... I actually keep the plastic on it in the really cold months and heat up the inside (it's cheaper and easier than heating the whole greenhouse... and then, once the weather gets warmer, I take off the plastic ... and once I no longer need it, I use the shelving in the wee shed...

Yes, have done that myself too but the ones they sell now don't have the removeable wire mesh. I have one where the mesh could be removed easily too allow for growth - this was really useful for tomato plants.0

both the poundstretcher mini-greenhouses and my B&M staging has removable mesh? The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity.

I noticed that when I bought one in a hurry this year... My original ones all have removeable mesh shelving plus they are pretty strong, whereas I had to put wooden boards across the mesh of the new one to stop it sagging... Luckily, my older ones are still in good nick....

Cheers for the responses so far.
However, I've already knocked up some sturdy wooden staging for one side and the end for under 20 quid and it was a shelf for the long I was after......any ideas?0
