Sweetie table

At ours we didn't have lots of young children after 8-9pm they all vanished home they had the sweets to take away with them
. I think we opened the table about 8ish so not to early. Our sweetie table was quite relaxed and not to formal i didn't add matching ribbons etc. None of our guests had heard of them at weddings and all the adults thought it was great fun idea. The popping candy was a big draw!

They don't need to be expensive at all. I have just got most of my sweets and chocolate for mine today and they came to £23. That was for tubs of jelly babies, sour stars, gummy rings, disco discs, rainbow sticks, mixed haribo jellys, maoam stripes, 20 cadburys cream eggs, 10 aero lambs. I have filled up 8 jars so far, and have enough sweets left over to fill at least another 6! My sweets mostly came from Bookers Cash and Carry, or Asda.
The jars were £1.20 each from Asda or £1 for the some kilner like jars. In all its cost me less that £35! Just get to get some scoops now and luckily have been given a load of paper bags by a friend. But like someone said you can get them quite cheaply off ebay.
It all depends on what you want. Obviously the 'posher' sweets are going to cost more.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0
