Hoping someone can help me out with a graphics card upgrade for my old pc (emachines E3042).
Specs: Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: GATEWAY
System Model: E3042
BIOS: Default System BIOS
Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) D CPU 3.20GHz
Memory: 2046MB RAM
Page File: 539MB used, 2694MB available
Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
DX Setup Parameters: Not found
DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.5512 32bit Unicode
It currently has a 512MB GeForce 6200 LE card installed which is struggling with online gaming (WoW is playable but not exactly pretty!) and until I can afford to buy a new pc I was looking to replace it with an affordable upgrade.

I have found this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sapphire-11140-12-20R-4650-DDR2-Graphics/dp/B001ULU1MU and was wondering if its compatible and whether I would also have to replace the PSU (I haven't checked the PSU yet but i bet its not particularly powerful). According to the blurb on the front of the machine I do have a PCI-Express slot available too.

In addition...If anyone can recommend a better card within the same price range (or even cheaper!) I would be very grateful. :)

EDIT - crap info will re-write

on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

All we need to know is if it is AGP or PCI-e and what size the power supply is. The rest we can sort from there.

Hi and thanks for the reply. The power supply is 300w and I have googled the MB and apparently there is 1xPCI Expressx16 and 1 PCI Expressx1 (in my non-techie terms there is one brown slot with current card in it and 2 white ones...don't know if that helps! :o)

The label on the front of the pc definitely says "with available PCI Express slot"

does the current graphics card have any extra cables attached to it or does it just go stright into the motherboard?

no, it doesn't need connection to power supply, no other cables, just clips straight into slot on motherboard.
