A nice model, for once, from the french. I just wouldn't be buying it off ebay. Best of luck.

Why Not? Bought a clio from there almost 4 years ago for £200 and bloody great little car.

    Ring a main dealer.
Some Berlingo came with one remote key, and one normal key, but new keys can be programmed in when you buy the key.

The only ones I know which actually need the red master key to program in a new key were some Fiats from the 90's. If you don't get the master key for them it's several hundred pounds to fix.

As long as it all looks legit there shouldn't be any worries.

Best to go and have a look first though if it is near you.

a lot of cars actually come with 3 keys, two black/remotes and a red 'master' needed to reprogram the remote/cut a blank if they get lost because it needs to match the immobiliser. Generally the red key is the one to be sure it is present if Citroen do that (i'm only speculating here).

Well worth getting someone to check it over first but father in law has a multispace, which is a car based on the Berlingo van and its not too bad actually. (even if i do expect the electrics to fail at some point).

    5t.
What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?

  • They came with 2 keys, both black plastic bodies, if an upmarket model with central locking both will be plippers, edit...not sure if one might not be a plipper on early models, sorry, obviously if a lower spec then no plippers.

Every Citroen and Peugeot has a keycode card when new, this has a covered code which will be needed to buy replacement keys.
If that's missing, don't lose the keys, headache's will follow.

    No red master key.
