Hi, I will be travelling to Spain this summer for my family's holiday. I was looking into purchasing some travel insurance, when I realised I receive worldwide travel insurance with my Platinum account with LloydsTSB.
Does anybody have any experiences with this type of insurance that you get through your bank? Will it provide me with the cover I need?
Thanks for your help.

you can download the policy terms from their website.
I have had it for a few years, and claimed for medical expenses incurred in Bermuda. Paid out quickly, no hassle.0 -
Thanks. I will download and take a look.0

One thing to note is the policy does not cover natural disasters so you won't be covered for any disruption caused by the ash cloud. I'm with them and I just phoned up to check and this is what I was told0

The insurance is a pretty good standard, its underwritten by AXA. Be careful as holiday insurance tends to have a lot of exclusions (alcohol consumption, "dangerous sports" could even be classed as stuff like a banana boat ride etc. Read everything carefully especially if you are planning on doing things out of the norm0
