Cheap flights to Vancouver in late June

Looking for some flight help here.

Trying to find a good value flight from any London airport to Vancouver for a friend going out anytime 24 June-27 June for a week. I'm normally used to paying for BA First but the cheapest flight I can find to YVR is through Canadian Affair at £629. Air Canada/BA are £800-£900 in Economy.

Any tips or advice I can pass on to bring the price down, if at all, at this late stage? No accommodation required.

Not sure how it would suit your friend but we've saved nearly £1000 on 3 flights to/from Seattle rather than Vancouver this summer.
    Understand it's about 150 miles/3 hour drive.

Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

Vancouver is never cheap, best fare I can find is on Monday 27th, transatlantic flights have weekend supplements, for 7 nights on Air Canada for £788 booked through net flights. Probably too late to hope for any reductions now, check whether the Canadian Affair charter flights are direct, many are not, making a long journey even longer

£496 on US Airways LON-SEA with one stop (CLT) 27/6-4/7, the stop makes it a long flight though
