Travel insurance for undiagnosed conditions

I desperatly need help with this one. During the last month, i have been admitted to hospital for inflammatory bowel disease. We are going away in 3 weeks time so the drs have decided to perform a colonoscopy after we return to diagnose either Chrohns or ulcerative collitus. in meantime im on reducing dose of steroids and chrohns meds. Heres the biggy. We did have insurance but now i cant get any under nearly £900 because of this - if at all. i dont know what to do as i dont want to take the risk but being as we have saved for over 12 months for this holiday and due to the crappy year we have had, we desperatly need it (going with friends as well). I dont know where to go as ive tried googling different companies and comparing and now im all bozz eyed through it all (not mentioning the headache). if it was diagnosed then there wouldnt be a problem but as im still awaiting tests........:eek:

Is the travel ins annual or one off

What date did you show symptons

What date did you visit the dr first re symptons

you did have insurance, but now you cant get any....?

Do you mean you have previously held a policy for travel insurance, or you had insurance for this particular trip?

If you were insured before you fell ill, then the insurance should cover you, as it was not known at the time, or have I missed the point?
