Hi Wealdroam, thanks for your help! Does the 30 days start from the date of order or the date of cancellation? Thanks in advance!

That quote seems to say 30 days from cancellation.

As a matter of interest...how do you know it was left behind the plant pot if the card was ticked to say left in a secure porch...?

Are you sure you actually have the parcel and now want to have your cake and eat it too ?
  • If you didn't get the parcel.. how do you know it was left behind the plant pot? The OP makes no sense. Are you just trying to claim you didn't receive it because the courier didn't follow your instructions?

    That's not very nice.

I think the OP has just poorly described what happened, in a rather muddled way.

It reads to me like the courier had been instructed to leave the parcel with a neighbour. However when returning home, the OP found a card which said the parcel had been left behind a plant pot. When the OP checked the plant pot the parcel was missing.

'Hermes' decided to leave the parcel behind the plant pot on my driveway (not exactly secure unlike what they had check as 'left in secure porch')

I decipher that to mean the courier had ticked the box (or written) on the delivery note 'left in secure porch'.
So . . . how did the op know it was left behind a plant pot? The plot thickens . . .
