Seller wants me to pay again using different paypal account

Hi all you helpful ebay experts.

I have just won a pair of boots and paid for them, and I have now received an email to say that her ebay account is linked to her old paypal account and I need to recall my payment and pay her again to the account in the email.

This sounds dodgy to me, and I want to retain all guarantees for non delivery etc that paypal offer, so please can someone tell me if its OK to pay her again?

I do want the boots

Many thanks

Elmer

As long as the invoice she sends you shows named ebay goods you are covered. However, if you funded your original payment via a bank transfer in paypal then tell seller you want to wait a week for it to go back before you pay again, otherwise you could end up with the second payment going before the first has cleared back to your account. Secondly selelr will need to raise an invoice as if you try to pay again via ebay it will still pick up the wrong address.

    Thanks Soolin

She has now forwarded me a paypal email that explains the process, so I hope everything will be OK. To be honest its only £9.00 so I will risk it as the boots are just what I wanted

    Thanks for your help

    Just a follow up
I called her to say Id sent the payment, but paypal wasnt happy about me doing it off ebay and she has already sent the boots even though I hadnt yet paid.

I am amazed, although I rarely have any problems with ebay, it just goes to show how nice people/sellers can be.

Why would they be happy? They lose their fees
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.
