Not very OS as not the cheapest thing, but if you want something a bit healthier, the Quorn meatballs simmered in homemade marinara are pretty good on one of these sandwiches, topped with mozzarella. OH is American and vegetarian and loves to have these enormous sub-style sandwiches. The other thing you have to remember about Subway is that their bread is pretty heavily flavoured so you would need lots of herbs in your roll to replicate really well.0

you can get these for 60p a pack from farmfoods
Personally, I wouldnt go anywhere near mechanically recovered " meat"
Making your own meatballs is so easy, easier than opening a tin!
Get some mince, finely chop onions ( or blend with the blender so you dont get chunky bits), season, mix in, if its not sticking together consider adding half an egg beaten to get it to stick , knead for a few secs, form into balls, put in a griddle pan cook for 5 mins.
You can knock these up while you are warming your bread and ppepping your salad- quick, easy & a hell of a lot more nutricious than the skin & scrapings that come out of a tin! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

I make meatball subs to the kids all the time, but use Tescos fresh meatballs, in the fridge aisle beside the mince and that. For the sauce i use value tinned tomatoes and chuck in some mixed herbs, a pinch of salt, pinch of sugar and some tomato puree.0
