Rose arch, but I have no patience

I really want to put a rose arch in our little cottage garden, but have no patience to wait for them to grow or flower - and no money to buy plants that are 'mature'!!

Any suggestions about which variety of rose to get that will rapidly shoot up??

    What about rosa banksiae 'lutea'?
Supposed to be very vigorous - I don't think it's got much of a smell though

I recently purchased a rose on ebay from a dealer the service was excellent and the plant was in top condition and full of buds ready to flower.. :) .. here's the link they have it white, red, cerise pink They are 5ft high and buy it now £25.00 + £6.95p&p which in my mind is excellent value as a 3ft climber could cost anything from £15.00 upwards..

Here's some pics of the 5ft rose i purchased on ebay.. 'Filicite et Perpitue'
its a rambler i can grow to about 20ft .. :) .. flowers once a year with a white flowers and strong scent

I would also look at pauls himalayan must rose lovely small pink rose great scent, There are lots to choose from kiftsgate, Rambling Rector, Zephirine Drouhin (thornless).. or any rambling rose have a look at harkness roses, peter beales, david austin & style roses to name a few for ideas.. :)

If you done mind waiting abit i would also recommend Madame alfred Carriere.. this mine and its 2 years old now and full of flower growing up my arch in my front garden

The thing with getting a vigorous one is that you'll be needing to prune hard and often(which will require a whole host more patience than growing the right sized rose over a season or two) It will grow across arch vigourously too, snagging clothes, and people. I hate to say it, but I'd get the right rose for the right job, a mature one as Brogueblue suggests rather than a vigourous rambler. Its also worth noting that the ''vigourous'' ones tend to be ramblers not climber which tend to be, but are not exclusively, once flowering. Mme Alfred carrier on Broguesblue's arch looks beautiful, but its also a stronger looking frame than many prepacked commercial rose arches.

F And Perpetue covers the back of my parents house with ease and Paul's himalyan musk would out grow a rose arch v. quickly! I'm a real novice compared to Broguesblue, so defer to is/her better knowledge but tbh, experience in my parents' rose gardens makes me suggest other than these for this situation.
