Last week I ordered a 42inch tv from homeinemanetwork. It arrived on Saturday in a damaged box and the tv has a dent in th back of it. I paid £399 for it. I called them today and they say they have no more in stock to send a replacement. The next cheapest one they have is £399. What would you do? I dnt want to pay the difference
Thanks in advance

So - you paid £399 and the next cheapest is £399 - but you can't afford the difference???0 -
Sorry meant to say their next cheapest is £599. Ooops!0

I would search round and see if I could find the same model anywhere else for the same price, then see if the original retailer would give me a refund.0

well get a refund then?
if you think the company will swallow £200 in difference then i think you are onto a loser0 -
er - I may be wrong but you bought the tv in good faith and it arrived damaged - its now up to the company to either sort out another tv to replace the damaged one or to give you a refund so that you may purchase one elsewhere. and to pick up the damaged set. You DONT have to pay the difference for a different tv if you dont want to.
btw - you would probably be better off posting on Consumer Advice.0
