When do I stop being a Newbie?

Just curious - when would I be allowed to suggest links to people? I started to day, tried 10 comps already and want to give somthing back!

    It will be a combination of a certain number of posts and being registered for a certain time.

    The block on posting links is there to deter/prevent spamming, so I'm afraid MSE is not going to tell us exactly how many posts or how long, as that info would be useful to spammers trying to get around it.

    However, it shouldn't take too long, so just continue to take part in the forums in other ways until it does.
