Cheap but Good Dishwasher Tablets

Hi,
Can anyone advise on cheap (own brand or branded) but good quality Dishwasher Tablets that they've used esp for shiny glasses please? My nearest supermarket is - you guessed- Tesco, like most of the rest of the earth so ideally they're own brand & if so, are they any good?
I've just bought a Dishwasher & bought those Fairy power burst but I've used £4+ worth in a week!! Many thanks

Personally, I prefer to use the "old fashioned" dishwasher powder rather than the tablets. I find this gives a much better wash. It's £2.50 (ish) for 1kg at Tesco and, even though you have to get rinse aid and salt too, it works out a bit cheaper per wash than the tablets.0

I occasionally get let out for a days shopping when I head up to Glasgow. I am a Makro card holder and buy boxes of their own ones (ARO) for not much money at all.
My sister was in my house staying when I was away on holiday earlier this year and she ran out of tablets so spent over £3 on 28 tabs in Morrison (own make). Imagine my disgust when I realised that inside both boxes were exactly the same tablets in the same wrappers - and she had paid a fortune compared to what I do!!!!"Life may not always be the party you wish for, but whilst here you may aswell dance"!!!

Finish! or Tesco own brand I find are the best

The ones which are completely rubbish are Glist! Very poor - would recommend staying away from those, they leave awful marks on glasses, they look much more dirty than before you put them in!The £2.00 Coin Savers Club = approx £22.00  :j.. The 20p Savers Club = £17.80.

Tescos have a 1/2price offer on 15 fairy tablets with glass (cant remember what it called) for £1.78 was £3.xx so just over 10p a tablet. Brought 10packs to store away as the 30 packs were £6.xx. Good luck0

Look out for Waitrose own brand especially when they are on BOGOF - I got 2 boxes of 44 (I think) for around £2.70 and they are brilliant. Had never used them before and am well impressed with the results: no difference at all between them and those cost-a-bomb Finish ones.

I treid Aldi own brand ones recently, and very impressed - good results and mega-cheap!!!0

I always just buy whatever is the cheapest when I'm in the supermarket. That means usually own brand but sometimes a 'big' brand if they are on offer making them cheaper then the own brand. I've never really noticed any difference between them.
