We're all quick enough to complain, so here's some praise for a very speedy and free repair on my three+ year old Dyson vac. As simple as one phone call to Dyson centre, wait over the weekend and cheerful engineer turns up as promised Monday am. Correct parts, quick job, no cost. Service!

i have also always had excellent service from Dyson, called regarding a cracked bin and when they came they also replaced the hose as they said it was close to splitting and i found their service excellent. that is on an appliance nearing the end of its 3 year warranty.. Will always buy dyson for that very reason"The darkness has no answers"0

Dyson are fantastic for service...never had any reason to fault themSquirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
I rang them today about my faulty Dyson and they've arranged for someone to come and fix it Thursday for free. I'm very impressed with them so far.0

i must be one of the lucky ones who has never had a dyson break on me, or my friends...or anyone i know.Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000
current savings: 20,500 (target hit yippee!)
Debts: 8000 (student loan so doesnt count)
new target savings by Feb 2010: 30,0000 -
Glad you have all been happy with your dyson post sales service- They do deserve to be praised BUT the ownership of Dysons does fall into the realms of Jobsonian Apple ownership in so far as you are happy with the service but overlook the fact that your product should run more than 5 years without issues anyway.
How often do you hear the owner of a £100 (Numatic) Henry complain about the unit falling apart?- I don't have a Henry- happy with my trouble free 7 year old Miele Cat and Dog
(BTW Although I almost consider apple to be evil I have to concede that their build quality is generally pretty good)
Overall I want to like Dyson and I'm glad to hear that they have good customer services- its just a shame that they are let down by the quality of production0
