It seems odd that critical safety warning (ABS) would share a warning lamp with a relatively minor alert.
my brothers mondeo has it, the wheel sensors that are used for abs are multipurpose and also work the abs, i have seen quite a few cars like this but have been out of the industry for a while so cant think of many off the top of my head, although im sure my T5 volvo
was the same , abs and tc both rely on knowing the speed the wheels are turning at0 -
You have two serrated rings behind the brake discs, they get clogged with brake dust which is magnetic and throw such faults, a quick wash with a hosepipe and a bit of pressure and wash out the brake dust from the callipers and ABS rings, once its fixed the light goes out on its own, if not you need a obdii scan to locate the faulty sensor, Quickfit of all people are quite good at fixing these things in a brake service.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
