Hmv Online Purchases

I ordered 4 items on the 23/11/06 from hmv.co.uk via quidco of course and the 10% off code. Thought I had got bargains and had ordered them intime for xmas. Only to find out that only one of my items was in stock and the other three where on order with the suppliers, would probably take about a week to come into stock. Nowhere on the web site did it state that these items where out of stock.. Checked yesterday to see when they where going to despatch, needless to say they still weren't in stock and they said should be in stock in a weeks time then they would be despatched. It was at this moment I panicked. I prob wouldn't get these games for xmas. Infact the guy agreed with me, so I had to cancel what was left of my order. What makes me cross is that they shouldn't have taken the order in the first place knowing they didn't have it. There rant over. So beware if ordering at HMV.

MY son wanted to buy a christmas present for my OH from HMV. Ordered it and was then told it was out of stock and was on order from a special supplier. Decided to cancel there and then as I have "experience" of HMV and "special Suppliers". Eventually got the same thing from Play.com and has arrived in good time for christmas.

Moral of the story is .............. don't order from HMV before Christmas :j :j

I ordered through HMV and one of my items was to be ordred through their suppliers. However, it didn't long, just one extra day.

2 of my items have been on special order. but they were 12" vinyl so this is standard practice. I got one of them this week. Still waiting for the other, but hopefully it will come soon.
