smelly breadmaker

Had to store my breadmaker and on opening it I found it to be mouldy smelling ,I rinsed out with soapy water then bicarb ,cooked bread yuk can still smell it now cant shift it is it done with.

    Bleach is usually the thing for getting rid of mould, but it's not good to use on stainless steel (although a very mild one like Milton might be OK). You could try a paste of bicarb and leave it on for the night.

    Might get more answers on the Old Style board, if you ask for it to be moved.
  • Have you tried heating it up with warm soapy water / milton in - watch out for bubbles though .

    Maybe it has a yeast infection ............. LOL (sorry)
