Payday!! So I have an odd £6.59 in my account ... I may as well overpay with it!!

I hate not being able to overpay online... I have to ring them up and they are kinda snobbish when i overpay less than £100...

Update: They laughed at me again!! I HATE IT!! I wish I could overpay online =(

I see people on here OP'ing by £14,000 a year and kinda feel like my efforts are hardly worth it sometimes? I still want to be mortgage free by 2021 but I'm not so sure how viable that is!!

I definitely need to be at least 75% LTV by August 2014 when I come to the end of my current deal!! So I need to be at approx £115k by then which is easily do-able I hope!!

  • Phelpsie, we all are running a race to the same goal, and some will take longer than others. You have the right mindset of clearing whatever you can and as you say 2014 in August is a good 3 years off... Whatever you can add to lowering your mortgage will strengthen your hand - so don't worry, just persevere.

I will do - but seeing as I won't get paid until end of August I guess (I start my new role on 1st August) it's a bit... devoid... of income!!!
I will leave my rented flat out of it, as it pretty much cancels itself out...
In other news - I had to buy my company car before I left my last job - I guess I need to create a "piggy bank" for that as well...
Insurance, Tax, Service, MOT... anything else I need to search the web for to guess how much to put away?
