Hi i'm having a maequee to sit 70 people and it has enough capacity for our 120 guests a night. Ours in coming in at £1500 and that includes carpet, chandeliers, black and white dance floor and starlight sky over the dance floor. I can't remember the size in ft though!0

Hi, I think you just need to search around in terms of the Marquee. We have managed to get marquee (9x12 m), with linings, carpet and swag, starlight lining, dancefloor, stage for band, chairs, tables, 2 heaters, lighting, catering tent and a posh loo trailer for around £1700! We did get 25% discount tho for our wedding being out of season, but even without that it is pretty cheap!
We found our marquee people by searching on google- try and look at the smaller local sites, they may offer you discounts to try and get custom.
If you are in the south west I can suggest you try the people we are going with. So far they have been good. Always answered my emails the day I sent them etc, but havn't seen the finished product yet!:T0 -
what about having a silent disco. everyone gets their own set of headphones which they listen to to music through you can listen and dance and nobody else (neighbours) hears your music.:kisses3: Married 29th September 20120

We looked at a marquee but we are really on a budget and it is just too expensive!!! Sadly!
My friend had a marquee at hers and the weather was so nice that everyone just piled out of the marquee after dinner and spent the evening walking around the grass in bare feet/sitting on benches chatting. The dancing didn't get started till 10pm (but it finished at 2am). It was lovely and relaxed.
