Transfered to EDF from Scottish Power in June? Not happy with EDF? Is it ok to change again, or can you get penalties?

I've switched 6 times in the past year. Make sure you keep the reading on changeover, Excel is good for this. You can then check that the last reading from your last supplier matches the first from you new one. I've chased the best prices on the way up the slippery slope and will chase them down now that the tarrifs are about to reduce (hopefully). Chase latepayers of overpayments by you by phone. I've had to do this twice with nPower but they have then credited my DD account with the excess I've paid straight away. If I'm short, I pay by my Nationwide account which is vey good for this. The last one was with Southern, where I paid the 32p I'd underpaid to close the contract.0

Is it really worth the hassle? You've probably saved about £10.
Even if you've saved £50. Again, is it really worth the hassle?
Anyway, to answer the question, you can leave a supply 28 days after them beginning your supply.0 -
Energised. The 'hastle' as you call it is 5 minutes online every 2 months to switch followed by a check of final bills. When these were going up by large percentages and you're paying a DD of £112 a month for gas it's worth it. Do you work for these companies that are doing this, to put people off paying to swap?0

And you can often get a cashback reward for switching.0

If you're paying £112 a month in gas your energies are best expended in working out why on earth you're using so much gas!0

if the supplier says they will be cheaper than your last supplier then they are not they have broken this agreement and cannot stop you from changing
Pls be nice to all MSer's
There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.
Tomorrow never come's as today is yesterday and tomorrow is today

They acn't stop you from changing anyway unless you're on a long term contract or owe them money.0
