This is a great idea, i'd like to join for June please, Aesop .
Think i'll ease myself into this challenge by aiming to make £5/day. I work part-time and sometimes there's no work, so i do a little mystery shopping when i can. I'm doing a mystery shop tomorrow which will earn me around £18. I'm sort of cheating here, but i'll credit the payment to my June target of £150 as May is effectively over.
Hope we all hit our targets :T.

Ooh, there IS a little bit more to add - have just been going through my receipts and adding them onto a spreadsheet ( a new thing for me!!!!!). I saved £2.85 on BOGOF in Boots that I hadn't noticed! It was my hayfever tablets!:rotfl:
Also a pound for the Advantage card magazine that they now charge for if you don't have a card. More vouchers in that, plus I also got one of those vouchers with £5 off fragrance and £5 off skincare.
Note to self: It pays to be organized!£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[

Ok. I am going to start today as I am away for 3 days in June.
£112.30 on eBay tonight (I am going to deduct fees etc at the end of the month)June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving
July challenge £50 a day. £ 1682.50/1550
October challenge £100 a day. £385/£31000 -
My challenge this month is to ebay more, use as many vouchers as I can but only if it will save money, try not to spend on anything I don't need, and survey like a demon. With the money I made in May I bought myself a new TV for my bedroom, only been promising myself that since January, and I had my old TV for 20 years so I've had my money's worth out of it, but didn't want to use my wage money cos I'm trying to save. So the money this month will go towards new hiking boots, but only if there at the right price.
1 item I listed on ebay tonight, I've been asked if I'll do a buy it now already. Looking forward to June's challenge already.0 -

I've had things that have ended up making me around 60p after ebay and postage costs. It does sometimes seem like a lot of effort when you make next to nothing, but the way I see it, it's better to have 60p in my pocket and one less thing cluttering up my house than holding onto something that I'll never use.misskaytee wrote: »This is the reason i dont normally use my 99p free listings!!! :rotfl:
Im experimenting with gritted teeth and listing stuff at 99p that i would normally list at 14.99 or even 19.99  most have had almost instant bids so far, and lots of watchers, so hopefully theres a method in my madness...only time will tell, i will of course let you know how my experiment goes, but there mostly 10 day listings, so i may be some time!
I usually check how much things are going for before listing them (to see if it's worth selling!) and if you are selling something that always sells well (BN toys, games consoles, etc) then I always start at 99p as you can be sure that they won't stay at that price - and it saves a fortune on listing fees! Some things you do have to have a higher start price on though or you could end up losing a lot of money.0 -
Listing fees have come down in price so much though. It's usually just 20p or 40p.
At one time at £60 start was up to £4 to list- now it's a £1 max.
Maybe I just need to be braver! I do have a lot of tat (sorry lovely items) not worth much.
I think that I am going to try a few job lots of stuff maybe. Put 10 items of kitchen stuff, or 10 girls gift bits into one auction. I had a bit of a tk max 60p reduction addiction. Probably got 100 items that cost me 60 p-£1 reduced from grand starting price of less than £5. I was waiting for that day they would come in useful!June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving

Quiet few days with me. No sales on ebay or amazon:o
Had items finsihing today on ebay, had watchers but no one bid so I have relisted. Hoping tomorrow will be better.
Amazon is quite tempermental. One week you sell a few things and then nothing for a while. Will keep plodding on.:p
I agree with LOLLY that its better to get some money for items rather than nothing. I find you can list an item for 2 weeks and no bids and then it goes the 3rd week. Oh the science of ebay!"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream"C. S. Lewis

:hello: hello and welcome to all the newbies to this thread.
Good luck everybody, hope you all do well in making money this month.
I started a spreadsheet for Jan and then stopped, as I had too much stuff to keep track off. But from June, I am going to try and be better, as I need to keep track off my MS jobs and my surveys.
Plus a couple of other bits. Have found with the daily clicks it is better to cash out as soon as you can, as there is a risk it will go under :eek:0
